High-Tech Process

For Same-Day Crowns

We begin by using a digital scanner to capture precise 3D images of your teeth and gums. These images are transferred to CEREC’s advanced design software, where Dr. Rodriguez customizes your crown. Our in-office milling machine then fabricates the restoration from high-grade porcelain. Finally, Dr. Rodriguez places your new crown, providing you with a functional, natural-looking restoration in just one appointment.

Partial Crowns

in One Visit

In addition to full crowns (which completely cover a tooth down to the gumline) Dr. Rodriguez also uses the CEREC system to design and create partial crowns, called inlays and onlays.

An inlay only replaces the space between the cusps (peaks) of a tooth, while an onlay replaces at least one of the cusps. Dr. Rodriguez will let you know what is needed for your specific situation, and will deliver your new restoration the same day.
